Where our market data comes from
TradeHive AI relies on market data feeds to power quotes, options activity, and technical context. This page explains how data flows through the platform.
TradeHive AI is for research and educational purposes only. It does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. Market data and AI-generated outputs can be inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete.
Types of data
- Equity and index price data, including intraday and historical quotes.
- Options market data, including contract-level activity and flow.
- Derived technical indicators calculated from the above.
Timeliness and accuracy
Depending on your plan and market conditions, some data may be delayed. Data feeds can also contain gaps or errors outside of our control. We surface data as reliably as we can, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, accurate, or real-time at all times.
Your responsibility
Because data can be delayed or incorrect, you should independently verify any figure before relying on it for a decision. TradeHive AI is a research tool, not a system of record for trading or accounting.
Providers we use
- Polygon.io: stock, ETF and options prices, options trades, market status and news.
- Federal Reserve, BLS and U.S. Treasury data (delivered via Polygon.io): Treasury yields, inflation and labor-market readings used in the Daily Market Snapshot.
- OpenAI GPT-4o: writes the plain-language explanations. It does not supply market data; numbers it uses are checked against the data above.
The ticker tape on our public pages shows quotes delayed by at least 15 minutes, with the time of the last quote. If the feed is unavailable, the tape is hidden rather than showing stale numbers.
